I have had a very busy and constructive Summer with a number of successful exhibitions in the Uk and Spain.

I especially want to thank all the people I have met for their kind comments, appreciation and sales.

At last! Here are the latest crop of paintings, I have battened down the hatches and been working away in my studio and at "the office" all winter and I've finally got around to posting some online..I hope they're worth the wait! More to come soon...

I am not a frequent blogger. I am better at and prefer to spend my time painting but eventually I get around to putting up some pics of my work and I hope they are worth the wait..
We have snow on the mountains here in Asturias, the Atlantic is bashing away at the coastline, on the warmer days I walk and enjoy the fresh air, paint what I see and eat fabulous Spanish feasts for a few euros. It's a much quieter place at this time of year when all the holidaymakers have headed back home.

It's been a very busy summer, but finally (as the weather changes) here are a few more photographs of my paintings..

The first installment of a selection of watercolour views of Porrua, the tiny village in the mountains of Northern Spain where I live, there are lots more to come...click on the images to enlarge them.

I have been painting and drawing since I was a child growing up in Manchester, my first subjects were the industrial cityscape that surrounded me but I gradually became more influenced by the geography surrounding the city due to countless walks in the Peak District.

Moving to Brighton, East Anglia, Exmoor and eventually settling in the Somerset Levels have all exerted their influence in my photos, painting and drawings.

Now finally residing in the mountains of Northern Spain, I have access to both the sea and hills and continue to represent geographical structures, patterns and views.
